Xbox One Will Replace MS Points for Real Money, Finally

I had a conversation years ago about gaming companies using a points or credits system when using there online store. Microsoft, for example, uses MS Points. You buy a MS Points card for and add the points to your account. Everything in the store has a cost and so on and so on. The person I was talking too felt they needed a system to make it easy for people to make purchases. I reminded him that currency has been doing this for years.

It seem Microsoft has decided to notice this as well with with the next Xbox 360 firmware update changing MS Points to local currency. While the MS Points cards will be going away, Microsoft says they still will have “Xbox Gift Cards” for those that would prefer not to use there debit or credit card online.

Microsoft says this new system is set to launch sometime…
